New Beginnings

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." - Charles Dickens

This quote from A Tale of Two Cities was written at the top of card hidden in a bouquet of flowers. The flowers were a gift from my husband in honor of our 6-month wedding anniversary. The card could not have been more perfectly worded for the following reasons: 1) I dearly love classic literature, Dickens in particular; and I love to read quotes from authors I admire, 2) the quote was true; it described our marriage experience to a "t." It has been both the best and worst of times, the good far outweighing the bad.

Starting this blog is a way of documenting the most recent stages of my life: marriage, first teaching job, family experiences, and the ups and downs, as well as, celebrating the stages to come. Enjoy!
